The BrickYard Brawl is BACK again, Jan 12, 2019.  This years 6th annual Brawl will be a 2-person co-ed team competition with 2 divisions, under 35 years old and 35+.

Event WODS

Workout 1

12 Min AMRAP 4 Min Bar Facing Burpees 4 Min Deadlift(Female)/Clean(Male) @ 105# (Scaled @ 75#) 4 Min Clean(Female)/Snatch(Male) @ 105# (Scaled @ 75#) Each team has 1 45# barbell. 1 person working at a time. Athletes can switch as often as they would like but must tag each other when switching. Stepping up from the burpee is allowed but must be a 2 foot take off to jump over. The athlete must be perpendicular to the bar while doing the burpee.

Workout 2

For time:(7 min time cap) 60 Toes to bar (Scale Toes to hips) 60 Box Jump Overs (20") (Scale step overs) This workout will be done with a 10 min running clock. As soon as your team either finishes the 120 reps or hits the time cap in workout 2, you will begin finding a max weight for the complex in workout 3. 1 person working at a time. Athletes can switch as often as they would like but must tag each other when switching. 20" box for everyone.

Workout 3

1 Clean + 1 Hang Squat Clean + 2 Shoulder-to-Overhead This workout will be done with a 10 min running clock. As soon as your team either finishes the 120 reps or hits the time cap in workout 2, you will begin finding a max weight for the complex in workout 3. This is a complex that must be done without dropping the bar or taking your hands off the bar. The Clean must come from the ground to shoulders in one continuous movement but can be received as a power or squat. The Hang Squat clean must start with the bar between the knees and hips. It can either be received in a squat or ridden down to a squat as long as it is one continuous movement without a pause above the squat. The Shoulder-to-Overhead must start in the front rack but can be a strict press, push press, push jerk or split jerk as long as it is finished with both feet together and in control. The score will be both partners maximum weight added together.

Workout 4

6 Min AMRAP 1 Athlete on the Assault bike 1 Athlete performing 1 arm Overhead Walking lunges (50#/35#) (Scaled 35#/20#) Every Calorie on the bike is 1 rep. Every 5 feet of lunges is 1 rep. Athletes can switch movements as frequently as they would like and no tag is required. Athletes can switch hands as frequently as they would like as long as it is in-between reps. Back knee must touch the ground during the lunge.
